I am excited to be your new Principal! I am humbled and thrilled for the opportunity to serve in such an amazing community!
I am aware that change can provoke excitement and anxiety. My plan is to to spend time learning about our school and all stakeholders to ensure the best transition as possible for everyone involved with Horace Maynard Middle School.
Below are some of the things that drive me:

I am very passionate about education and educating the whole child. We will have a school that focuses not only on academics but the social emotional development of each of our students.

Relationships are the most important aspect of any successful school. We will work to develop strong relationships with our staff, our students, our parents, and our community members.

I am a father. I have been blessed with a wonderful 3 year old son and beautiful brand new baby girl. Even though they are not close to the age of entering school yet, I want to provide the education to students at HMMS that I would want to be available to my own son and daughter. I will not settle on treating any student any differently than I would my own children.

Positive attitudes are a must. We will keep students at the center of our work and keep them as our focus.
Myself, my wife Hollie, son Nolan, and daughter Harper are so thrilled to now be a part of the Horace Maynard Middle School family and I look forward to serving the Union County Community!
